Coca-Cola's most
important audience is its bottler-distributors, and it is eager to cultivate
a relationship with them. This is, however, a group that receives many
promotional gifts from other business partners. Coca-Cola asked us to
develop garments that would be perceived by the bottlers as unique and
highly desirable.
The program was so successful, Coca-Cola asked us to create the '96
Olympics uniforms and develop garments for a co-promotion with the TV
show "Friends".
The black wool and leather jacket bearing a "Diet Coke Uncapped"
patch was used to promote the company's partnership with the 1997 Grammy
Awards "Unplugged" segment. Over 1,200 lucky media members
and consumers received the jacket along with a numbered backstage pass.
